I was excited to try EatWith for the first time because I'm a fan of Chef Amanda's food blog @apartment5C. Chef Amanda provided an evening that enticed all of my senses. As a busy working professional, I have come to truly value the look and feel of where I consume my meals when I can sit down, because often I'm eating on the go. The atmosphere was beautiful in all ways. From her warm, kind nature and alluring table settings that included romantic candles, fresh roses, evergreen, and hydrangeas and the bespoke menus that adorned each table setting to her amazing Spotify playlist (seriously please send it to me) that set the mood for a lovely evening of food and wine. Then there's the food: WOW. I am newly pescatarian so I was excited to see what a winter vegetarian feast entailed as the holidays are coming up and I won't be preparing a meal with the traditional meats (ham, turkey, chicken). I left wanting for nothing. I did not miss the meat at all. Each course was delicious and complementary of each other but still stood out on its own. My personal favorite was the homemade tomato soup with caramelized onions and garlic with freshly baked garlic rosemary foccacia. It was so good that I placed a bulk order of the soup and bread before departing (and I'm actually eating it now I as provide this review). The risotto was creamy and very well complimented by the roasted balsamic veggies. The hazelnut carrot cake was to die for. All things mentioned were vegan by the way. I'd never know this if I wasn't told before hand. I'd definitely recommend an evening dining on Chef Amanda's cuisine to anyone and I will for sure be coming back!

The Winter Feast was amazing. Each course was unique and delicious in its own way. Amanda made her space welcoming to each guest, which made the night even more fun. I would definitely attend again and recommend Amanda to anyone!

As a follower of this chef’s Instagram (@apartment5c), I had to come to her dinner party. Her food is vegan, her home is cozy and the other guests were enjoyable to be around. It was a good change to dining in a restaurant.
