Super fun evening! The food was amazing and the space was really cute. The hosts were welcoming and engaging, we enjoyed hearing about the inspiration behind the food. Also really appreciated we could one meal that was all vegetarian and one that included the meat and seafood. It was a perfect fit for me and my bf as only one of us doesn’t eat meat. 100% recommend

We had a group of 11 that dined with Julia and Johnny after the US Open. What a wonderful experience. The food was incredible, presentation and explanation was great and the atmosphere felt so comfortable. We hope to come back against next year. Thanks again for a wonderful evening.

Johnny and Julia were wonderful hosts! Their apartment is in a lovely area. The atmosphere was very cozy and the food was delicious. My friend described the corn tamales as "a hug in food form". The amazingly crispy pork belly with yuca dish were definitely our favorite. We've never had yuca like this before. Johnny and Julia made us feel very comfortable and, all in all, it was a wonderful way to spend an evening in New York City whether you're just trying to spend time with old friends or meet new people. Highly recommend!

Upon arriving, Julia immediately welcomed me with a glass of sangria and made me feel comfortable. I loved the menu which perfectly described what we were to expect. Johnny would emerge from the kitchen and describe each dish, and Julia was attentive throughout. I absolutely loved the creativity in the cooking, with emphasis on mushrooms, their specialty. I had never had mushroom popcorn or mushroom crackers before, and the food was made with finesse, from start to end, with the flan. Both of them shared the joy of food, and I loved how Julia would share in the conversation--the rest of the company comprised their friends--with Johnny joining us at the end. It was a relaxed, intimate and very delicious evening. These eatwith meals are the best I've had so far this year.
