Herbed Labneh with Preserved Lemon and Walnuts

My version of labneh with herbs, serrano chile, olive oil, walnuts and a taste of garlic with sesame pita chips

Anna: Jackie and her family were the PERFECT hosts - we can't recommend her Eatwith experience enough! Delicious Middle Eastern food cooked with love and passion and served in their lovely garden, this was an evening to remember. As soon as we walked through the door, Jacqueline made us feel like we were family. She introduced us to Jordanian food and culture through telling us her own family story, explaining different dishes, recipes and traditions at each stage of the evening. She even gave us coin-belts to wear during the meal to 'jingle' as we moved! All communication was prompt and attentive, and Jackie made sure to tailor the evening to suit our party of 7 perfectly. There was an incredible amount of food - so go with an empty stomach! (We were able to take some rice home to enjoy the next day). Whether you're local to LA or just visiting - dinner with Jackie will warm your heart as well as fill your belly :) Will: Jackie was the perfect host, and getting to meet her family was a real privilege. The food was incredible and I hope to try it again next time I'm in LA!
