    Do you want to shop at the farmer's market, but are often overwhelmed by all the choices and unfamiliar ingredients? Join Chef Aliye for a demo-style cooking class featuring fresh seasonal ingredients from local farmers’ markets.

    What you will learn:
    • How to make 3 seasonal, Mediterranean dishes
    • How to choose the freshest produce when shopping at your local farmers market
    • Tips for plastic-free storage and how to keep your food lasting fresh for days

    Please note that this event is BYOB and guests are allowed to enjoy their favorite beverage during meal time. A communal meal will be enjoyed at the end of the class. Recipes hand-outs are included.

    Chef Aliye brings 25+ years of cooking experience plus knowledge from the farm-to-door produce home delivery business she started & managed for 8 years. Her Turkish background and California upbringing combine to bring fresh Mediterranean fare to the table with delicious offerings.

    It was great. Compares with the Hobbit https://www.hobbitrestaurant.com/ Excellent food, conversation and atmosphere. Quiet, no rush for a 2nd seating. I'd go again. Met very nice people. Hoping to get together with them again too.

    Amazing and wonderful! The food was nothing short of fabulous. Aliye and Andrew were charming and hospitable and made us feel totally welcome. Aliye concocted a new cocktail, which I believe we named Turkish Sunrise - delicious! I'm really glad the chicken recipe is on Aliye's website, as I don't think my life would be complete without having it again, and again, and again.
