Not always is there a need of trivial cooking classes to learn how to cook with talent, technique and good taste. Those who believe that a good cook is recognized by how he cuts vegetables or prepares demi-glace, is obviously out of days, Stuck back thirty or forty years ago, that does not take account of the new generation of cooks, some self-taught, who transformed and simplified the modern kitchen on the stage of flavors, in a mix of culture and emotions, into something more than a simple dish prepared well. I have always been interested in cooking, in the rituals hiding behind a good Sunday lunch. Since I was a kid I would like to help my mom and then to cook on my own, just putting into practice the many recipes stolen from Internet, TV, the best cookbooks. I love casual cuisine, I prefer traditional Italian dishes and at the same time I have fun preparing Asian, British, Greek and South American recipes. After years of experience preparing for dinners and banquets in Italy, I am excited now to cook dinners and informal refreshments at my home in Oslo. Francesco and Maryanne are delightful hosts. The four of us felt at home from the moment we entered their apartment. The meal had various flavors from the Middle East to Italy to India. The dessert was a yogurt mouse with berries and chocolate crunch- delicious.

Francesco & Mar'yana were very warm and welcoming me into their home. Dinner was not only delicious but very though provoking -I learned so much about Oslo & Norway and the Norwegian culture. We also went for a lovely walk through the city after dinner! Hope to see you again!
